What products can I use in the palette?

Any type of cream or wax formulas that come in a stick, pot, or compact can be transferred into our palettes. This includes foundation, concealer, contour, color corrector, highlighter, bronzer, blush, eye shadow, lipstick, and more.

What formulas should not be stored in the palette?

Avoid storing gel eyeliners that come in a pot and cream eye shadows that are specifically formulated to dry down immediately in palettes, as these formulas tend to dry out and need to be kept in individual sealed containers.

What’s the best way to clean the outside and inside of the palettes?

Our conditioning cleansing oil (coming soon) is formulated to thoroughly remove makeup while maintaining the finish of the palettes. A few drops of oil (a little goes a very long way) on a microfiber towel will clean the case effortlessly.

The wells of the inserts are easily cleaned with soap and water. It is safe to use alcohol with a plush paper towel or cotton swab. Avoid pouring alcohol into the inserts.

What’s the best way to keep the palettes sanitary?

Keep a few clean, empty palettes for mixing shades, using them like painter’s palettes. Use a flexible palette knife to scoop product from your main palette wells and transfer it into the empty palettes. This prevents double-dipping and contamination of your filled palettes, while also making touch-ups easy because they can be slipped into any set bag. You can then simply clean out the palettes at the end of each day.
